RACS 'Against our Oath' Barangaroo Screening

Join us for a SPECIAL FILM SCREENING
and Q&A with Dr Helen Young

Against Our Oath
Monday 18 November, 6pm for 6.30pm start
Baker McKenzie, Tower 1, Level 46,
100 Barangaroo,
Sydney 2000

Filmed over four years in ten countries, this film goes behind hospital doors to hear from the clinicians who worked on the islands, and the people held there, who spoke out to save lives.

Their voices led to the passing of the Medevac Law earlier this year, which ensured medical decisions remained with doctors. But the Australian government wants to repeal it and a decision will be made in just a few weeks time.

There has never been a more important time to spread the message that medical decisions should remain with doctors.

Join us for this SPECIAL FILM SCREENING to amplify doctors voices and stand in solidarity with those still held in Papua New Guinea and Nauru.

All proceeds go to RACS to support free legal service for people seeking protection in Australia.
